Zaptopia – Norme sulla privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: 9 ottobre 2026
In breve
Servono solo a capire cosa è troppo facile o difficile. Puoi spegnerle in Impostazioni → Statistiche anonime.
Classifica mondiale (Game Center / Google Play Games)
I tuoi diritti

Zaptopia – Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Zaptopia is a card game for iPhone and Android made by Gabriele Decandia ("we"). This page explains what data is processed when you play and why.
In short
- No account is needed, and we never ask for your name, email or other personal data.
- Your progress is saved on your device and, as a backup, on our server, linked to an anonymous code (not to you).
- We collect anonymous gameplay statistics to improve the game; you can turn them off in Settings.
- Video ads are optional: you only watch one when you choose to, to get a reward.
Rewarded video ads (Google AdMob)
Rewarded videos are provided by Google AdMob. When you choose to watch a video, Google may collect device data, such as the advertising ID, IP address, device model and how you interact with the ad, to serve and measure the ad and to prevent fraud.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google's consent form on first launch. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & ads. The game always requests non-personalized ads, meaning ads not based on your profile. On iPhone we do not ask for tracking permission and the advertising identifier is not used.
More information: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Cloud save, leaderboard and statistics (game server)
On first launch the game creates a random identifier and a secret code on your device. They are not linked to your name, email or phone. With them the game sends to our server (Supabase, with data stored in the European Union):
- Cloud save: a copy of your progress (cards, decks, level, settings), so you can restore it on another device by entering your code (Settings → Cloud save).
- World leaderboard: the player name you chose and your scores (Daily Challenge, streak, level, runs won), visible to other players.
- Anonymous statistics: what happens in your runs (deck and hero chosen, battles won or lost, turns, videos watched, purchases), the game version and the system type (iPhone or Android). We use them only to understand what is too easy or too hard. You can turn them off in Settings → Anonymous stats.
We do not use this data for advertising and we never sell it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the game and, for cloud save and the leaderboard, providing the service you use.
World leaderboard (Game Center / Google Play Games)
If you are signed in to Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), the game sends your best daily-challenge streak to that service. The streak appears on the leaderboard together with the player name you chose there. Apple and Google handle this data under their own privacy policies.
News and updates
On launch the game downloads a small public file from our website (hosted on GitHub Pages) to check for a new version and to show you game news. We do not send any of your data: as with any web page, GitHub receives the IP address of the request under its own privacy statement.
Feedback by e-mail
If you use the "Send us feedback" button, the game prepares an e-mail in your mail app with a few game numbers (version, level, runs played and won). You decide whether to send it. We only use your e-mail address and message to reply and to improve the game.
In-app purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details, only a confirmation of the purchase so the content can be unlocked.
Children
The game is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Retention and deletion
Game data stays on your device until you use Settings → Delete progress or uninstall the app. "Delete progress" also deletes your cloud save, leaderboard scores and statistics linked to your code. You can also ask us by email to delete them, quoting your code. Online data of players inactive for 24 months is deleted. Data processed by Google or Apple can be managed with their own tools, for example by resetting the advertising ID in your device settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
